Great restaurant, friendly service, good food. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here while visiting Corpus Christi. They have a small menu selection of great dishes which is a great sign of a kitchen that actually cooks food rather than heating up pre-packaged meals from a supply company. One small red flag: I asked for the stuffed portobello with no cheese and was told “it’s already on there” or something to that effect. That doesn’t read as a great sign that it’s fresh prepared in-house to me but I could easily be wrong about that. Overall I highly recommend you try Roasted Clove if you haven’t, your experience will be far better than at your familiar chain restaurants.

Highly recommend! Was visiting Corpus Christi from San Antonio and took my two daughters to the Roasted Clove to dinner. Food was across the board delicious. Had the calamari fries and crab crostini first, followed by duck breast with gouda mash for myself and margherita pizza for the kids. Everything was so good. Could have eaten the crab crostini for days! Dessert was chocolate and peanut butter mousse that was so light and the perfect amount of sweetness. Kids had dessert called death by chocolate. They scraped up every bite. The service was wonderful and thoughtful. The server was so personable and attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was warm and calming. So many things on the menu that I wanted to try. Will definitely be returning during our next visit to Corpus!

My first time to dine here. "OUTSTANDING "!!! My only complaint is that they're not open for lunch. I live in Rockport so I contend with the drive. Run, don’t walk, to the Roasted Clove! My husband and I visited for the first time tonight and had a fabulous dinner. We are always looking for new, great restaurants in Corpus, and are so excited that the Roasted Clove can join the list! We shared the calamari fingers, a wedge salad, and one of their nightly fresh-catch features, a roasted halibut with risotto. Everything was tasty (and we can be fairly picky). The calamari was crisp and tender, and the sauce was a great compliment. The wedge salad was delish, and the halibut was cooked perfectly (as was the risotto)! I loved the flavor of everything, and we’d like to do a huge shout out to our server Scott! He was kind and attentive, and added to our great experience. Thanks guys! We will be back.
